Adhering to its principles, the WCC Armenia Inter-Church Charitable Round Table Foundation has been implementing various assistance projects since the first day of the war for the benefit of displaced families from Artsakh.
At the moment, the WCC Armenia Round Table Foundation, with the support of the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Foundation, implements the "Providing Employment to Artsakh Families in Armenia" humanitarian program. The goal of the program is to alleviate the financial burden of displaced and vulnerable families from Artsakh, to solve the employment problem.
Recently, within the framework of the program, ART staff donated 44 chickens, 6 roosters and fodder for 6 months to each of three families displaced from Artsakh who settled in Aygevan community of Armavir region.
It was very emotive to see the smiles and joy on the faces of these people at this difficult period of their lives. The initiative will be continuous and soon new families will also have the opportunity to relieve the heavy burden of war and restart their lives, ensuring a stable income.
